What's the best meds to chill a person out?

Varies: I presume you mean you are high strung and want to be able to relax more. The family of medications best for this are the ssri. The most recent are Lexapro and viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) and are safe and effective for long term use.

Non-med chill's best: Learn non-med relaxation skills. There are many. Therapists, coaches, clergy can all help guide you into learning how to relax. Meditation, hobbies, music, exercise, dance, reading, gardening, time with pets... Whatever works even if it keeps changing. There may need to be a drug for an immediate crisis, but for on-going management of your life, the best thing is to find ways to involve yourself.
