Alternative?: Alternative to what? Nitroglycerine? Pain or pressure in the chest should prompt you to go to the er immediately.

Go to ER!!!: Pressure in chest is heart until proven otherwise. If you pain is not cardiac, (only determined by history, exam and tests), the sure, acupuncture, yoga, etc are reasonable to try.

Seek medical attenti: If you're having pressure in the chest, you may need to seek immediate medical attention. I'm not sure of your age, however pressure in the chest can be a sign of heart attack. If you have this pressure in the chest, shortness of breath, and the pain is radiating to the left neck, shoulder, or jaw, please go to the Emergency room. Otherwise seek medical attention with your regular dr.
