Itchy ears: Common itchy rashes that involve ears are eczema, which tends to be on the outside of the ear, and seborrheic dermatitis, which tends to be more in the bowl. Allergic contact dermatitis from hair dye often involves the ears. Usually cortisone creams are used to treat these. Wax buildup can also make ears itchy. If the itch is inside the ear, please see an ent. If on the outside, a dermatologist.
