Need information: In the vast majority of bariatric situations, the health benefit is big and easy to access. If you did not have health benefit, and your health issues are linked in time to your bariatric surgery, then check in with your regular doc. Depending on your issues, proper evaluation with testing and imaging you will get to a diagnosis/answer. Good luck.

Health problems: That is difficult to determine. It is possible, however, it is more likely that you would have developed these problems anyway and the bypass may have caused these problems to be slightly worse, or slightly better. Bypasses can slightly increase the risk for gastric cancer, but I am not aware of any other medical conditions that it has be shown to cause.
