gained 20 lbs in 2 days. been at 140 lbs for 10 years no matter how much i eat. why the sudden weight gain?

Weight gain: It is unlikely to normally gain 20 lbs in two days unless you are retaining a large amount of fluid, or the weight measurement is not accurate, anyway you might want to see a doctor to check your thyroid function and see if you have some kind of pedal edema.
