Spondyloptosis: A greatly displaced L5 on s1 will not affect fertility. However, it may complicate delivery. This was first described by an ob, so it is a possibility. The real question begs as to why such a displaced vertebra is untreated? Fusion should be considered for slips > 50% to prevent future problems including footdrop.
