Cramps need tx: If it is indeed more than nl cramps, you should at least take some non-steroidal medicine like ibuprofen. Take 2 or three( up to 4) of the over the counter dose of 200mg. So 400 to 600mg every 6 hours beginning before the cramps usually get bad, then taper off the dose a day later then stop a day after that. This will reduce the amount of bleed as well as the cramping..
