Depends on cause: Needs diagnosis. May simply be knee instability, for which special exercises work or an internal problem in the knee, bursitis or arthritis.

Depends: Treatment of knee pain depends on the cause. It can be as simple as rest, pain medication and physical therapy to more involved as knee injections and ultimately surgery. The suspected cause will dictate treatment. I would recommend you have your knee pain evaluated to determine the proper treatment plan for you.
