Nerve compression: Compression of a nerve in the lower spine can do it. On rare occasions compression of the cauda equina below the spinal column can cause pelvic pain and incontinence. A large pelvic cyst or mass can also cause similar symptoms. An evaluation by your physician is important and you may need a scan of your lumbar spine and pelvis.
