Sounds like hives: There is a form of hives (urticaria) called dermatographism or dermatographia, literally "skin writing." it is hives that are induced due to pressure on the skin. So any time the skin is scratched, a very itchy linear hive will come up for a few minutes then go away. Like urticaria, dermatographism that seriously bothers a person can be treated with antihistamines. Please see your dermatologist.
