Scalp lump: Most skin conditions like this should be evaluated by a physician. In sun exposed areas, tissue damage results in changes in the nature and texture of the skin, including benign things like seborrheic keratosis, but also skin cancers like basal and squamous cell tumors. A biopsy always takes guesswork out of the equation.
