A member asked:

My daughter is 15 and hasn't started her period. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I'd have her seen: The average first menses in the us is around 12.5-13. After 15 is considered significant delay and worth evaluation. The kids pediatrician or pcp could begin the process with some tests, but may refer you to a pediatric endocrinologist.
