It is: Tylenol (acetaminophen) extra strength is the safest medication in pregnancy. You do not want to use triptan medications like imitrex.

Check with your OB: You should check with your OB unless you already have a meds safe list. Tylenol (acetaminophen) normally is considered safe during pregnancy, but i always tell my patients to check with their OB re safety of all meds during pregnancy.
