Many possible causes: There are many different causes for numbness in the feet including problems in the nerves/spinal cord. Diabetes is the most common but not the only one. I suggest you see your doctor for blood workup including screening for diabetes, thryoid, endocrine problems, esr, and rheumatologic disorders. Your doctor may also suggest a nerve conduction test or lower back MRI for an accurate diagnosis.
