Need medical eval: He needs to be examined by a physician, like an orthopaedic surgeon. There are various causes of symptoms and signs that you described. At times, there could be more than one thing going on here. So he needs to be examined, evaluated following history taking, imaging studies have to be obtained and reviewed and diagnosis will then be made.
