That can happen.: The more important question is "are the twins okay?" repeat ultrasounds and see your obstetrician frequently to insure they are healthy.

Common occurence: Early on in pregnancy it is not uncommon to lose on of the twins. If this happens early then chances are you will continue to carry the other baby without any problems.
