Post tibia : No. Tendinitis should not effect the nerve or blood supply to toes. Sounds like a nerve problem. Possibly tarsal tunnel syndrome.

Probably not: Numbness is indicative of a nerve issue and thus you should consider everything from your back on down. Tendonitis is actually that, an inflammation of a tendon (medial side of foot and ankle-pt) if we talking about one foot, investigate tarsal tunnel syndrome on the internet. This entity could cause nerve and tendon pain on one side. If the numbness is both feet, unlikely to have tts both.

No: But could they be? Yes. When one has posterior tibial tendonitis it may be from bad biomechanics like a hyperpronated foot type. This same foot type can put strain on the tarsal tunnel. Compression of the posterior tibial nerve within the tarsal tunnel can cause numbness of the toes. But, other causes are a possibility as well.
