Maybe,maybe not: An acute headache of such amplitude that disappears in an hour or so with sleep or other interventions may be a migraine in a 6yo. If it lasts hours or more there is sometimes an infection as a trigger. Lack of sleep, fasting, poor hydration, stress and illness are common triggers.
