Propranolol & hair: Propranolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers. All beta blockers can cause hair loss, usually of the telogen effluvium type, meaning when the medication is stopped, eventually the hair will regrow. However, it is unusual to have a sudden onset of hair loss after 2 years, although still possible. Please see your dermatologist for an evaluation as there are other causes of hair loss.
