Accutane: It depends on what the antibiotic that you need to take is. Some are fine and others it might be best to avoid. Discuss this with the md who is prescribing the accutane.

Acne solutions? Im 32. I take birthcontril which helps some. I already took Accutane and I cannot take antibiotics (allergic).
I have had severe acne and i couldnt take accutane . Before that i took antibiotics with a topical but i didnt quite work. So i got prescribed tretoinin cream. My acne cleared in just 2 months. Does tablets prevent scaring better or is it timed based?
