No symptoms: The majority with gonorrhea have no symptoms. If symptoms exist they are penile or vaginal discharge and burning with urination. If gonorrhea goes untreated in men and women it can spread to the blood stream and cause rash, joint infection, meningitis, and adrenal failure. In untreated women, gonorrhea can cause infection of the fallopian tubes and ovaries leading to infertility.

Less often are painful urination, spotting between periods or after sex, or pain in the lower abdoman, sometimes with fever. In men, usually pus dripping from the penis and painful urination. If gonorrhea suspected, you and sex partner(s) must see doctor for exam & Rx.
