Go to an ER, not a: Quick-care clinic asap. Maximum dose/24 hours for a 1-year-old is 200 mg, divided into 3 doses. Symptoms may include drowsiness, excitation, disorientation, coma, acute renal failure, liver damage, metabolic acidosis [the body produces too much acid or the kidney doesn't remove enough acid] resulting in rapid breathing, confusion, lethargy &, in extreme cases, shock or death.
