What could a lump on the right side of the neck below the skull be? it is not painful and does not feel swollen.

MUST see M.D.!!: It could be a harmless skin lesion, like an epidermal inclusion cyst or lipoma (benign fatty tumor)... But it could also be a "sentinel node" which might be an early manifestation of lymphoma. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck from infection usually come up quickly and are tender. Either way, you need a physician to examine this lump and decide what needs to be done to make the correct diagnosis.
