Difficult Question: There is no substitute for an excellent doctor patient relationship. This goes both ways. Without trust the relationship breaks down. Perhap: Recurrence of hernia is touch to fix and increase complication rate dramatically. If you are not comfortable with your surgeon then yes definitely get second opinion.
