Difficult Question: There is no substitute for an excellent doctor patient relationship. This goes both ways. Without trust the relationship breaks down. I find it best it tthere is a problem to keep a cool head, make an appointment and directly communicate with the other person. Have your questions ready and and be frank and open. If this fails, you may have to seek another opinion. With prior surgery, can b d.

Perhap: Recurrence of hernia is touch to fix and increase complication rate dramatically. If you are not comfortable with your surgeon then yes definitely get second opinion.
