Usually doesn't but: I am not aware that whey protein typically raises people's pulse. However, an increased pulse after eating a food is a classic sign of food allergy, suggesting you may be allergic to it! whey is among the most common food allergens. It is more allergenic when it has been pasteurized. Try whey cool, a whey protein processed at low temperature. See comment for more info.
