I have been having diarrhea, vomiting in the first two days but no longer, and lower abdominal pain. i do know if this a stomach bug or something else?

Viral most likely: Stomach bug is possible esp viral i.e. Rota, norwalk etc. Most of the time, self limiting and no treatment. Keep hydrated. If pain and diarrhea persists, see family doc. Unless you traveled somewhere or ate out recently, chances are it is nothing to worry about.
