Itching with no rash: The list of conditions that could cause itch without rash is long, like thyroid problems, liver or kidney disease, even malignancies among others. Need a complete workup including a chest xray, urinalysis and stool exam for ova and parasites x 3. Also small red bumps that come and go could be a type of urticaria (hives) that is very itchy. Please see your doctor right away for proper diagnosis.
