Why stitching?: If your earrings caused a slit, be sure that next time they are not too close to the edge. Avoid rings that are large or heavy. You can pierce again after 3 weeks. Avoid antibiotic creams or ointments. Avoid bacitracin, neosporin triple antibiotic, etc., as these may weaken the new healing & cause allergic reactions.
