Hi calcium on cal: I would stop the calcium and get rechecked a month later. If the calcium is still high, then I would get a lab set simultaneously including: total calcium, ionized calcium, intact PTH, and serum creatinine at a minimum. A 24 hour urine collection from calcium may also be ordered.
