I've had an irregular menstrual cycle since i've had my first period. i've had testing done and doctor said everything is fine. what can be wrong?

Period = Ovulation: Your ovaries make hormones that control your uterus. If you ovulate regularly, then you'll menstruate regularly. If not, then irregular periods. Birth control pills will regulate your cycles, and often make them shorter & lighter. If difficulty conceiving, then fertility medications can correct ovulation so pregnancy possible. Outdated term: polycystic ovaries. Better ovulation dysfunction.
