A member asked:

I'm just wondering, if you think that you might have plaque buildup in your arteries?

Part of being human: Plaque is when the fat in the bloodstream build up inside the arteries and then get calcified causing atherosclerosis and plaque. Clues come from your blood tests and of course any symptoms you may have in your heart, legs, brain, and other areas. Do you have a strong family history ? It is not so much the presence of plaque which happens to us all but rather the effect of this plaque.
