Yes.: Not only are they perforating your skin but opposing teeth may be biting on that same skin raised up by the underlying wisdom tooth. Time to see the dentist. Can develop into an infection called "pericornitis".

Yes: Yes, erupting teeth whether they are wisdom teeth or not have to break through the overlying gum tissue and in so doing cause the gums to be sore with some discomfort. What is important at this time is to see your dentist in order to determine if they are coming in straight and if there is enough room for them to erupt or if they need to be removed.
