A member asked:

What happens when you lose a kidney?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney: Usually one kidney can compensate for the loss of the other, granted it is in good condition. You don't mention why the one kidney is lost in the first place? Is it from disease or donation? The answer will vary accordingly.
