What are the new technologies that are currently being tried in an effort to take care of cancer?

Targeted therapy: Improved knowledge of the molecular mechanisms that cause uncontrolled cell growth in cancer has led to the development of drugs designed to attack cancer cells with more effectiveness and less toxicity. It is becoming the new face of cancer therapy, but my concern is the enormous cost of these drugs and the access to them by the general public.
