No: Eating a well balanced diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, beans, legumes, lentils and low in saturated fats and meats will be fine. There are no super foods, new or old.

No: The results of studies on food choices and cancer have been so wildly contradictory over the decades that I've been in medicine that I've come to discount the whole business. The research piranhas at the NIH, who are in the know if anyone is, eat like an other sensible people without having a special "superfood" section.
