A member asked:

Might we be born with the h pylori bacteria in our stomach?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Our system is free of germs until birth. Then we acquire germs by ingesting them. Some will sneak past the harsh stomach acid and pass through to the intestines and stay. If h.Pylori ends up in your stomach, you ate it.
