Sugar, processed: You should avoid processed foods, and simple sugars. You want complex carbohydrates that are high in fiber to make your meals more satifying. They are found in beans, legumes, fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Grains stripped of their fiber, like white rice, and bleached flour are not healthy choices.
