Rotator cuff: This is a classic symptom associated with rotator cuff pathology. Depending on your history you might have an underlying subacromial bursitis or an injury to the rotator cuff. It is usually most evident when sleeping on that side. If it has been bothering you i would suggest an evaluation by an orthopedic surgeon.
