Next step: I wouldn't expect anything from milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) or cetaphil; proactive is pricey benzoyl peroxide which may help some, and i take it that topical Clindamycin or a similar antibiotic failed. If you also failed on a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day, it may be time to get to a dermatologist for accutane.
