A member asked:

Can you have an abnormal pap smear just because you are newly pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Edward Jacobs answered

No: An abnormal pap smear and the status of hpv (positive or negative human papilloma virus) is one issue. Pregnancy is a separate issue, though both may occur at the same time.
