What would you say are most effective fever reducing medicine/techniques?

See below: Tylenol (acetaminophen) 650-1000 mg. Less than 3 grams per day, Ibuprofen 400 mg. Per dose for adults, tepid water sponge baths and allowing the water to evaporate.
