Paracetamol use: Paracetamol or Acetaminophen are among the safest medications for pain however they also have side effects. At high doses they can affect liver and even kidneys. Do not take more than 1 gm per dose or 4 grams/day.

Avoid Rebound: Rebound occurs when you start chasing your headaches with a medication and they keep coming back. If your headaches are persistent you need to see a doctor and get on preventative meds which can make a big difference. Even short term repeated use of paracetamol can cause serious liver problems, so have your liver function checked.
