Can you please discuss cause, symptoms, treatment for chronic myologic leukemia?

SIMPLE ANSWER: There is no specific symptom. Symptoms vary, for example: fevers, night sweats, weight loss, fatigue, weakness and shortness of breath to name a few. Initial best test is a: CBC - complete blood count. For CML there has been a chromosomal translocation known as bcr/abl resulting in what is known as the philadelphia chromosome. Treatments are oral tyrosine kinase inhibitors that target c-kit.

See below...: You probably mean chronic myeloid or myelogenous leukemia (cml). Briefly, cause is genetic, the "philadelphia" chromosome resulting from a translocation between chromosomes 9 and 22; symptoms are nonspecific including fatigue, weight loss, bleeding/bruising, night sweats, lack of appetite, prolonged fever, bone pain, etc.; treatment is chemotherapy plus gleevec, (imatinib) sometimes bone marrow transplant.
