A member asked:

How do we determine the presence of parasites in the gastrointestinal system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stool samples: Stool studies for ova and parasites usually required 3 samples and sometimes anal adhesive samples. Local labs do a good job but some physicians like specialized laboratories. Two types worms and protozoan.
