Unlikely: Fortunately the female urinary & genital tracts are quite separate. Should do something about repeated utis: urinate to empty bladder after sex, shower rather than bathe, no bubble bath, avoid synthetic underwear & thongs, avoid/treat constipation, separate knees widely with urination. Drink plenty of water & urinate regularly. See your dr. If utis remain sex related for ?Macrodantin (nitrofurantoin) after sex.

I take famotidine to reduce acid as I have Barretts. I also get UTIs. I believe that Hiprex makes the urine more acidic. Can Hiprex make Barretts worse by introducing more acid into my system as they are both pills which go via the oesophegus?
