Fatigue, weight gain: A high TSH can indicate hypothyroidism but must be interpreted in the context of a free T4 level to determine clinical significance. Symptoms of hypothyroidism include change in voice, feeling cold when others aren't, constipation, hair loss, puffiness, fatigue, weight gain, dry skin and brittle nails, irregular menstrual cycles, muscle aches, and depression.
