A member asked:

What causes a reoccurring blood clot in calf?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recurring blood clot: Having one blood clot predisposes a person to having additional episodes in the future. That, along with other conditions such as immobility, certain medical conditions, smoking, obesity, and old age all contribute to blood clot formation.
