Medicine & Morality: Of all medical procedures performed in the us, abortion is the most charged emotionally, politically, morally. No other medical procedure's been limited, debated like this one. If strip aside personal beliefs, abortion done by trained professionals is a safe procedure 4ending a pregnancy. The stressors assoc w unintended/hi-risk pregnancy can b traumatic. Politics/religion amplify those stressors.
