If you know how to: If you know how to aseptically catheterised yourself with sterile gloves and tequnique so that you do not introduce infection in your bladder by the procedure at home, you may need your caretaker to learn as it is clumsy and uncomfortable to catheterise yourself and chances of infection are much greeter by doing so.
