In what ways are huntingtons and parkinson's alike and in what ways are they different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Movement disorders: Both huntington's and parkinson's cause changes in the way a person moves, and are known as movement disorders. The main symptom of huntington's is chorea, which is a flowing, fidgety type of movement. The main symptoms of parkinson's are tremor (rhythmic shaking), stiffness, and slowness. Both can cause problems with balance as well as with thinking and memory.
